WILLIAM + SELINA | HOUSTON, TX WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
A little over a year ago Selina contacted us to schedule a consultation for her wedding. Selina is a good friend of another one of our brides, Kimmy. It has been wonderful to work with Selina; she knows EXACTLY what she wants. That always helps to make our job a bit easier. Armed with very detailed lists of family members and desired shots, we made our way to The Gallery in Houston for a warm Summer Texas wedding.
The Gallery is such a lovely venue. Intimate, yet still can host quite the group. The textures. The views. It welcomes it's guests well and invites you to celebrate it's couples in style. Boasting two stories of entertainment spaces, the ceremony and reception took place downstairs, while upstairs guests could enjoy the bar and hors d'oeuvres.
Selina took great care to not overlook even the smallest of details. Avid travelers, the wedding was such a reflection of their adventures together and a celebration of their greatest adventures still to come. The travel theme was executed with care from the groom's cake to the seating chart. Muted lavenders, grays, and creams set the stage for a calming ambience.
Let's just talk about the dress. You know... THE DRESS... It was just stunning. The train was dramatic with intricate bead detail. Oh, and then she pulls the reception dress card. Y'all, her reception gown was AMAZING! The scarf skirt and lace top. Jaw dropping gorgeous. Selina was the epitome of bridal perfection.
Surrounded by family and friends, William and Selina said "I do" and then partied like it was 1999! What a fun couple, down-to-earth, and eager to start their life together. We had a blast, and survived the sweltering heat, documenting their special day. Congratulations, you two love birds! We wish you both much love and happiness!
